Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at (630) 485-9441 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Many of our customers come to us after disappointing experiences with larger companies that rushed the work. This often led to problems such as scratched paint, improper preparation, or even rust from incorrect priming. On top of that, many customers experienced no-shows, missed appointments, or poor communication from larger companies, which only added frustration and delays. These mistakes can be expensive to fix, which is why we take the time to do every job carefully and correctly from the start. Our commitment to quality and reliability is reflected in our amazing Google reviews, where customers consistently praise our professionalism, attention to detail, and excellent service.

As a family-owned business with over 25 years of experience, we prioritize quality over volume. When you reach out, you’ll speak directly with us—no call centers or middlemen—just straightforward communication and personalized service. We also offer mobile service, including static and dynamic ADAS calibrations, along with free pick-up and delivery for added convenience. Using high-quality materials and backed by strong customer reviews, we stand behind our work and treat every vehicle with the same care as if it were our own.

We use high-quality glass made by the same manufacturers that produce OEM (original equipment) glass for most vehicles. This means you’re getting nearly the same level of quality and safety, even if it’s not always branded as OEM.

If you’re going through insurance and have a newer vehicle—or simply prefer OEM glass, we can request OEM approval from your insurance company on your behalf.

If you’re paying out of pocket, we can also install OEM glass at your request; you would just cover the difference in cost.

Our goal is to provide the best balance of quality, safety, and value, with options tailored to your needs.

Yes, we provide full ADAS recalibration services. We not only handle both static and dynamic calibrations, but we can also complete both types of calibrations at your work or home!

Unlike many shops that require you to bring your vehicle in (or even leave it overnight for static calibrations) our mobile equipment and software allow us to get the job done on-site. This saves you time and gets you back on the road faster, without the extra hassle.

Yes, we work with all insurance providers. We’re registered with major companies and can also assist with claims from smaller insurers.

Most importantly, you have the right to choose who services your vehicle—your insurance company cannot require you to use a specific shop. Many times, insurance companies try steering you toward big-name shops that offer lower prices but use inferior materials, rushed installation methods, and often have poor Google ratings. In contrast, we take the time to do every job correctly and safely, and our amazing Google reviews reflect the quality, reliability, and care we provide. We’re here to make the process easy by guiding you through your claim and handling the paperwork, so everything is smooth and hassle-free.

Yes, we offer both mobile service and in-shop appointments, so you can choose what works best for you.

With our mobile service, we come directly to your home, workplace, or wherever your vehicle is located. If weather conditions (such as extreme cold, rain, or snow) aren’t ideal for a safe outdoor installation, we also provide free pick-up and delivery. We’ll bring your vehicle to our shop, complete the replacement and any necessary calibration, and return it to you at no additional cost.

We also perform ADAS calibrations, including both static and dynamic. Unlike many companies, we’re equipped to handle mobile static calibrations as well, meaning in many cases you won’t need to bring your vehicle in or leave it overnight.

Our goal is to make the process as convenient, flexible, and stress-free as possible.

Absolutely! We offer a straightforward, no-hassle warranty on both our glass and our workmanship.

If a chip repair we perform ends up spreading, we’ll credit the amount you paid toward a full windshield replacement.

In rare cases where you experience stress cracks, leaks, unusual noises, calibration issues, or any other workmanship problems, we’ll address it at no cost to you.

Our goal is to give you peace of mind, you can trust that every job we do is backed by our commitment to quality and your satisfaction.

Most windshield replacements typically range from $350 to $950, with standard vehicles averaging around $400–$500.

Costs may be higher for newer vehicles equipped with advanced safety features, but in many cases, insurance can cover most—or even all—of the expense.

When comparing prices, it’s important to look beyond just the lowest quote. We’ve seen many customers come to us after choosing cheaper options from larger companies, only to run into issues like scratched paint, poor preparation, or even rust from improper priming. These shortcuts can lead to costly repairs down the line. That’s why we focus on doing the job right the first time—delivering quality workmanship that saves you money and hassle in the long run.

In many cases, windshield chips can be repaired if the damage is small enough—typically if the chip and any cracks or “legs” can be covered by a quarter (with the upper limit being around the size of a half-dollar).

If the damage is larger, the repair resin may not fully reach all areas of the crack, making a full windshield replacement the better option.

It’s also important to know that, although uncommon, a chip can sometimes spread during the repair process and turn into a crack. We always make sure to explain this upfront so you can make a fully informed decision.

You can schedule a time and date that works best for you, just give us a call or send a text, and we’ll set it up directly with you. If your situation is urgent, let us know it’s an emergency, and we’ll do our best to accommodate a same-day appointment. While we can’t guarantee same-day service, we often have faster turnaround times than larger companies.

Because we’re a small, family-owned business, you’ll speak directly with us—no call centers or middlemen—which allows us to schedule and complete work more quickly and efficiently while providing personalized attention.

Service times can vary depending on your vehicle and the type of work needed. Chip repairs typically take about 15–20 minutes.

For windshield replacements, the installation itself usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. If your vehicle requires ADAS calibration, that may add an additional 15–30 minutes.

In most cases, the entire process is completed in under an hour and a half.
